Lorica Shirt

After the success of the Matera Collar, I was carried away by the idea of creating a new extravagant pattern. It is made up of puffed sleeves with cuffs fitted, a Peter Pan collar, and an elastic braid with loops. Important: Note that the style of the shirt is very loose.

The pattern includes seam allowances of 1.5 cm.

The ease is 2 cm at the waistline, 4 cm on the hips line, and 4 cm at the bust line.

Shopping list:
Fabric (140 cm wide): Sizes 6-10 155 cm, sizes 12-16 205 cm, sizes 18-22 223 cm fabric of your choice from double gauze, cotton, linen, and rayon.
Interfacing: 83 cm.
Accessories: 12 cm bias tape and 67 cm of the braid with elastic button loops.
Buttons: 12 -14, depending on how you will install the elastic braid.
Fabric Advice :
To make a classic shirt, use cotton, cotton poplin, or linen. For a more casual shirt for cold weather, choose cotton flannel or jeans. For warmer weather, I recommend crepe or English embroidery. For a more fluid look, choose satin, chiffon, or silk
